Welcome to DayDream!

We’re so excited to have you here. This section covers the essential setup steps we’ll complete together during your onboarding kickoff call. These guides will help you understand what we’re setting up and why it matters for your practice. Don’t worry — we’ll walk through everything together, and these pages are here as your reference whenever you need them.

Why We Ask for Detailed Information

During onboarding, we’ll ask you for detailed information about your practice structure, providers, and banking details. Here’s why this information is so important: Our goal: To understand your practice’s unique setup so we can configure everything correctly from day one and set you up for long-term success. The information we gather helps us determine:
  • Practice Structure — Single location or multi-location? This affects how we set up your accounts and enrollments.
  • Tax IDs — One shared Tax ID or separate Tax IDs per location? This determines enrollment requirements and billing structure.
  • Providers & NPIs — How many providers are actively billing? Are you using Type 2 NPI (group) or Type 1 NPIs (individual)? This ensures we use the correct billing structure for your practice.
  • Documents & Access — W-9, voided check/bank letter, and access to your practice management system as required for integration. These are essential for EFT/ERA enrollment, bank connections, and system setup.
The result: By gathering this information upfront, we can:
  • Set up the correct number and type of enrollments you need
  • Configure your billing structure properly from the start
  • Avoid delays and rework later
  • Ensure everything is set up correctly for your specific practice
  • Recommend best practices — Based on your setup, we may suggest solutions or approaches that work better for your practice based on DayDream’s proven standards and industry best practices
Our commitment to you: We don’t just configure your practice as-is—we also educate you on systems and solutions that may work better for your setup. Sometimes this means recommending changes based on best practices we’ve learned from working with hundreds of practices. Our goal is to ensure you’re getting the best service possible, which often means sharing insights that can improve your billing efficiency and accuracy. Think of it like building a custom home—we need to know the exact specifications before we start construction. But we also act as your consultant, suggesting improvements and best practices that will make your home more efficient and valuable long-term. The more accurate information we have, the better we can tailor our setup to your practice’s needs and recommend optimizations.
